It is Official!

Got my fist batch of Transition bikes yesterday. Drove up to the Transition headquarters in my trusty steel steed to pick up the goods. So that confirms the rumors are true. For the last several years I have been addicted to downhill and freeride mountain biking. I had been waiting for the right time to tie this into our snowboard shop and sometime conflicted about the idea. No we are not a bike shop, we are a gravity shop. Using the speed gained from gravity to defy gravity. Probably the closest thing to snowboarding. You use the hill for speed and the terrain to get your rush. Pick your line and point it. Timing is everything, I have been building trails and shredding for quite some time now. If you have not been to Whistler bike park then you are about to be blown away. Steven’s pass is breaking ground this summer with downhill trails to be open by the end of summer. Were not talking about riding uphill in spandex. We ride chair lifts or pick up trucks to the top. Pin it with speeds easily 40+mph and jumps any size up to 30+ feet. This is snowboarding in the summer, but it is on dirt and wheels.

We will only be stocking and selling Downhill, Freeride, slopestyle, and Dirt jump bikes. These are what I ride and recommend for a good time. Our main focus will to custom build the bike for your needs. Mostly stocking frames and parts you can’t find in the valley. I am starting very small and will continue to be dedicated to skateboarding and snowboarding. This should be a very positive move for the store. When winter dies down, so does are sales in a dramatic way. We need to make this happen to keep this store growing and flourshing with new products and customers. We all get a little depressed when winter dies down and the snow melts. Now we can have a reason for excitement and the change of the season and head back to the hill for more laps on the lifts.
